Iran to sell maximum level of oil to counter U.S. sanctions: VP

TEHRAN- Iranian First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri announced on Tuesday that the country plans to sell as much oil as it can in face of U.S. sanctions, Fars news agency reported.
“Required measures have been taken by Iranian foreign policy officials and those from the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) to ease related banking transactions,” he added.
Washington has been trying to stop Iran’s petrochemicals, steel and copper exports, according to Jahangiri.
“America seeks to reduce Iran’s oil sales, our vital source of income, to zero,” he said, “It would be a mistake to think the U.S. economic war against Iran will have no impact.”
